Castel Montgri
A short distance over the French border with Spain we can offer an alternative to France on one of the most popular campsites of the Costa Brava at Camping Castell Montgri near Estartit.
The Castell Montgri campsite has a host of facilities with several swimming pools including the largest on the Costa Brava. All of our modern, cottage-style mobile homes on the campsite have air-conditioning, decking and barbeques as standard.
The popular resort of Estartit with its long, sandy, child-friendly beach is nearby with the marine conservation area of the Medes Islands only 1 kilometre off shore. The harbour is overlooked by restaurants and tapas bars and the combination of the colourful weekly market and variety of shops make it a great place to visit.
If you enjoy watersports you won't find a better destination as the islands are a magnet for snorkelers, divers and boat enthusiasts. A trip on a special glass-panelled viewing boat around the islands shows the variety of marine life thriving in the park.
There are three championship golf courses each within a few minutes drive and a popular par 3 course where you can learn golf or improve your short game in superb surroundings.
